Daemons of the Shadow Realm: where to start the manga after season 1
For viewers who finished all 24 episodes of Yomi no Tsugai season 1. This is a conservative handoff, not an episode-by-episode omission checklist.
Chapter 30
After Daemons of the Shadow Realm season 1, begin at chapter 30 in volume 8 for a short reread. The reported direct continuation is chapter 33 in volume 9, but chapter 30 gives you the lead-in to the final episode material.

Can’t wait for Season 2?
Can’t wait for season 2? Read from chapter 30 now, or chapter 33 if you prefer the reported direct continuation. Keep the short overlap if the ending is no longer fresh in your memory.
Season 2 was announced on September 20, 2026. The announcement does not give a premiere date.
Announcement checked 2026-10-02. Read the official announcement. Release plans can change; this chapter bookmark follows the season named above.
What overlaps or changes?
Chapters 30–32 intentionally overlap the closing episodes. The linked continuation report places the endpoint around chapter 32; this guide uses an earlier bookmark rather than treating that approximate boundary as an exact cut.
Should you start from chapter 1?
You can begin with the short overlap instead of restarting. On Manga UP!, chapters are split into parts: choose Chapter 30 -1, then read the remaining parts in order. Part numbers are not separate full chapters.
