Heads Up
The honest version.
1. This is a side project.
MangaKazoku is a personal hobby project I built because I wanted a nicer way to browse anime and manga metadata. It is not a company, there is no team, and there is no support inbox waiting to reply to you.
That means:
- The site can (and probably will) go offline without warning.
- Your account, watchlist, reading list, and reviews may be wiped at any time.
- There is no SLA, no uptime promise, and no migration plan if I get bored and shut it down.
If you'd be upset to lose anything you've added here, please don't trust this as your only copy of it.
2. The data might be wrong.
The catalog on this site isn't curated by hand. It's aggregated from publicly available sources like Jikan (MyAnimeList) and AniList. That means titles, scores, episode counts, release dates, character lists, and synopses can all be:
- Out of date
- Incomplete
- Just plain wrong
Don't make a real decision based on what you see here. If you need accurate info, go to the upstream source.
3. Content belongs to the creators.
Anime and manga titles, cover art, character information, and synopses shown on this site belong to their original creators, studios, and publishers. MangaKazoku does not own any of this content, does not claim to own it, and only aggregates publicly available metadata so fans have a single place to browse it.
4. Use at your own risk.
This site is provided as-is. I'm not promising it works, I'm not promising the data is right, and I'm not promising it'll be here tomorrow.
If you act on something you read here and it turns out to be wrong, that's on you. If using the site causes you any kind of loss, damage, or harm, that's on you too. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any of it.
If that doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the site.
If something here is yours and you'd like it removed, please open an issue on the project's GitHub repo.
