Synopsis

Just before the end of Edo period, under the Tenpou era. Inflation, rice shortages, political corruption, epidemics... In a world where common people suffer, a swordsman who has lost his sight and an Akita dog journey together in pursuit of "justice" and "strength." Where did they come from, and where are they heading? At the end of their path, will they find light—or darkness?
