Synopsis

It's the Meiji era, at the height of the Russo-Japanese War. The brothers Aka Mifune and Ao Mifune, doctors at a military hospital, using the notes left by their father, commence experiments on "resuscitation" of the dead. With animal experiments on monkeys proving successful, officers eager to pursue military applications of "resuscitation" order them to perform experiments on human bodies, but midway, Ao, the younger brother, is attacked by a mysterious group of assassins and killed. So begins a suspenseful story of forbidden and bizarre medical arts!!
